چکیده

This research on intercropping productivity of several soybean varieties based pruning corn plant leaves was carried out road Alai Kapalo Koto, Limau Manis, Pauh District, Padang at an altitude 101 meters above sea level from July to November 2022. The purpose this is investigate the relationship between various types and pruning. best leaf for development production, as well productivity. study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. first component cultivars, which had four treatment levels (Anjasmoro, Grobogan, Devon 1, Dega 1), second factor quantity pruning, (Pruning 0 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 Corn Plant Leaves). number clipped determined base stem. findings revealed that there no interaction applied maize plants select yield in system. trimming half has greater influence NKL ATER values than other levels. When compared varieties, Anjasmoro variety produced higher yields. According study, 1/2 type should be system

Impact of Allelopathic Potential of Maize (zea Mays L.) on Physiology and Growth of Soybean [glycine Max (l.) Merr.]

The aim of the present investigation was to determine the allelopathic effect of aqueous extract from either fresh or oven dried leaves and root of unstressed or water stressed maize plants on soybean growth and its effects on rhizosphere soil treated with maize plant extract. The extracts were applied for 10h to soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] as seed soaking treatment prior to sowing. The ap...

Impact of glyphosate-resistant volunteer corn (Zea mays L.) density, control timing, and late-season emergence on yield of glyphosate-resistant soybean (Glycine max L.)

Glyphosate-resistant (GR) volunteer corn is a troublesome weed in soybean fields in a corn-soybean rotation as well as in corn fields in a continuous corn production system. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the impact of (1) different densities of GR volunteer corn on soybean yields, present as individual plants or clumps, controlled at fourth trifoliate (V4), sixth trifoliate (V6)...

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr].

In this chapter we describe an Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformation method of soybean that utilizes mature half seeds and regeneration from the cotyledonary node region. This method results in fertile transformed soybean plants and transgenic seed in approximately 9 months. Using mature half seeds as starting material has proven to be a reliable method that does not require additional wound...

Effect of deep-tillage and nitrogen fertilization interactions on dryland corn (Zea mays L.) productivity

Subsoiling a compacted soil should loosen it, improve the physical conditions, and increase nutrient availability and crop yields. The aim of this work is to compare the effects of different tillage and fertility treatments in a loamy Typic Hapludoll soil, and to determine the interactions of N fertilization with several soil properties and dryland corn (Zea mays L.) productivity. The experimen...
